Rapid Chat is a CGI Based Chat written in Perl and JavaScript. Rapid Chat does not require a chat server to be running in the background, hence using up less system resources. Rapid Chat will run on any Unix based operating system which has perl installed on it.
It is a fairly simple to setup, as long as your server allows CGI access, you should have no problems running Rapid Chat.
